D’un côté Petit Homme Poilu, qui vient de s’installer. De l’autre, Grosse Bête Velue, qui vit là depuis toujours.
Le voisinage dans la forêt entre le trappeur taiseux et l’ours curieux et malicieux va donner lieu à bien des péripéties. Ils s’observent et se font des blagues, se cherchent des noises, s’attirent et se fâchent (très fort pour le trappeur, mais ENCORE PLUS FORT pour l’ours) avant de se rapprocher et devenir de vrais potes… pour la vie. Dès lors, qu’il est bon d’admirer ensemble les étoiles filantes, tout là-haut sur la montagne !
