Voici un choix fort étonnant pour un bulletin de Noël, mais malgré son contenu qu’on pourrait qualifier de macabre, ce recueil de photos noir et blanc représente un travail (et un livre) magnifique.
Arnold Odermatt a commencé sa carrière de policier dans le canton de Nidwald en 1948. Il se met à photographier les lieux des accidents de route afin d’enrichir les rapports, idée révolutionnaire à l’époque. Il devint ainsi le premier photographe de police suisse.
Le résultat de ses 42 années derrière l’objectif est drôle, attristant mais surtout beau.
